Trip Details

Trip Dates: 9/23/24 - 9/29/24 (7 days, 6 nights)

Group Size: The trip will be limited to 16 people to ensure we can provide the highest quality experience. If there is overwhelming demand, we will consider planning a few additional Iceland trips in following years!

Price: $6,000

Includes: The price above includes all lodging, ground transportation, food, guides and group activities. You'll only be responsible for airfare, 1-2 lunches and anything you want to do outside of the group (e.g. spa treatment). Note: the lodging is very likely going to require two people to a room, so if you're traveling solo and want your own room, please email us and we can figure out a plan.

Deposit: $1,000 (from our tests this will code as Travel on your card). This will confirm your spot in the group and will be applied towards the total trip cost. If you end up needing to cancel after the deposit payment is made, we will apply the credit towards a future ATH trip. If we end up not offering other trips in the next two years, we will notify you and you will receive your full deposit back.
NOTE: We've accepted deposits for the full trip capacity, so we've now created this waitlist in case someone cancels.

FAQs

Can kids join? The days will be packed with adventure and activities. Some days will include more strenuous activities and may not allow for a quick escape back to the hotel. Therefore, we'd encourage you to consider your kids needs (mealtimes, nap times, ability to walk far distances on their own) before making the decision. We don't recommend younger children.

Will there be any free time for solo activities? Yes, there will be time in Reykjavik including one lunch.

Is it possible to arrive earlier or stay later than the trip is currently scheduled for? Yes! You're responsible for airfare and any additional costs that fall outside of the itinerary, so please book flights accordingly if you'd like to arrive early or stay later and let us know if we can help get you some of our preferred rates at hotels.

Will allergies and dietary restrictions be accommodated? Yes! As soon as we confirm attendees, we will contact you to get more detailed information including food restrictions.

What is the cancellation policy? If you end up needing to cancel after the deposit payment is made, we will apply the credit towards a future ATH trip. If we end up not offering other trips, we will notify you and you will receive your full deposit back.

What is the typical weather in Iceland during the travel dates? Average temperatures this time of year range from low 40s to mid 50s.

What is the likelihood of seeing the aurora borealis? The Northern Lights season officially starts in mid-September and lasts until mid-April. September has been known to put on a quite the show with regard to showcasing the aurora borealis! So, while we can't guarantee it, there's a decent chance we'll experience it.

If I book this trip as one person will I be sharing a room with someone else? I would go in with the expectation that you'll be sharing a room (but of course not a bed) with someone else. That said, we haven't finalized all the lodging, so we'll do our best to give everyone that's traveling solo their own room. If you want to ensure you have your own room, please email us and we can figure something out.

Have any other questions? Email trips@allthehacks.com and we'll do our best to add to our FAQ's.
